Our history

Club Collection is a family-run fashion and clothing company with a passion for natural, exclusive materials. The company was founded in 1980 on a trip to India in a time before emails, telephones and direct flights. Here, Claus, our founder, spent a total of three years in India to build close relationships and learn the craft from the inside. Everything happened face to face. The human encounter and honest trade became the core of our current business approach. Since then, we have also expanded our production to countries such as Turkey, China, Italy and Mongolia. We have been suppliers to the major fashion houses, but today we have gone solo and design and produce our own collections, without the expensive middlemen.

At Club Collection, we have one clear ambition: to make exclusive knitwear accessible to more people – without compromising on materials, ethics or aesthetics. We build our business on respect for craftsmanship, good business acumen and a love for nature's finest materials.

By creating timeless designs in natural and long-lasting materials, we want to offer you everyday clothes that you actually wear – and that last season after season. Our close relationships with our suppliers over decades are a symbol of Club Collection's interest in maintaining trusting and long-term partnerships that enable us to ensure high quality and responsible working conditions.

We own our own production and therefore skip the traditional middlemen. This means we can offer exclusive knitwear in unique materials such as cashmere, silk and wool, which are usually associated with much higher prices – without compromising on craftsmanship and quality.
