OUR COLLECTIONS

Come behind the scenes of our production and get an insight into our choice of materials and how we work.

We work exclusively with natural materials of a high quality, and we have great respect for the origin of the raw materials we use for our collections. All our styles are created with the environment and a sustainable future in mind. Most of our cashmere is certified under Ecocert.

We are always striving to create a timeless and durable design, to ensure you will use every item for years to come.

Our collections are produced without intermediaries. When you buy from us, you buy directly from our own production. Our mission is to sell high quality knitwear at affordable prices.

Below you can read about the different qualities we work with:

CASHMERE – THE HEART OF OUR COLLECTIONS

The yarns come from goats that live in and off nature and thrive in their environment – this gives the best quality. The name derives from the goats' origins in the Himalayan region of Kashmir. The mountain and desert landscape of inner Mongolia are home to the people who live with and feed their goats, which provide wool, milk and meat. The goats develop a fine undercoat, which protects them from the harsh cold that can occur.

The goats are gently hand-combed in the spring months when the weather warms up. Only the soft underwool is used for yarns. Combing is done gently and at the time of year when goats naturally shed. Cashmere wool, which is extremely delicate and exclusive, is unmatched by any other type of wool. A large proportion of our cashmere is certified under Ecocert.

CASHMERE BLEND – NEWEST MEMBER OF THE CASHMERE FAMILY

Our cashmere blend is a mix of cashmere and mercerised wool, combining the best properties of both qualities of wool. This quality gets the softness from cashmere and the smooth surface and ability to hold its shape in washing and use from the mercerised wool. Both types of wool have good insulating properties.

YAK WOOL – THE WOOLEN TREASURE FROM THE TIBETAN HIGHLANDS

This type of wool comes from the yak oxen that live in the same places as the cashmere goats and roam freely. Shepherds follow their natural cycle through the seasons. The oxen are a natural part of the ecosystem and graze on the uplands. Yak wool (khullu) is the soft undercoat that oxen develop in autumn and shed naturally in the late spring months. Yak oxen are neither sheared nor combed. The wool must be collected at just the right time or it will be lost. The wool is soft and can really keep you warm. It is great at retaining its shape and is one of the more durable types of wool.

MOHAIR – FEATHERY & AIRY KNIT THAT KEEPS YOU WARM

Our mohair comes from South African goats. We only use certified “non-mulesed” mohair wool for our production – this means good animal welfare and no mistreatment.

LEATHER & FUR – NATURAL LEATHER BECOMES MORE BEAUTIFUL WITH TIME
Our leather and fur products are from lambs that graze in the wild and have good living conditions. The leather always shows if the animals have been mistreated. The raw materials for our skin and fur products are surplus products from lambs that have been used for food.

We call this "edible fur" from a holistic point of view of using everything from the raw material without anything going to waste. For the same reason, in our production we do not use fur from animals that have lived in captivity/cages and that are bred only for their fur or leather.

A classic leather jacket, trousers or skirt will last you for years and will only get more beautiful with use.
